Physical education enables our students engage in all round development. We consider sports a powerful and perfectly legitimate way of refreshing the mind through exercising the body and soul. This helps channelise our students’ innate physical activity into creative and beneficial ways.

Sports enables our students sharpening overall cognitive abilities and motor skills via athletics, exercise and various other physical activities.



Physical education is commonly part of the curriculum at University levels,and our students are encouraged to participate at university-level tournaments, should they possess the desire and requisite skills.

Team sports, which are encouraged at GRTIET, help in social skills like team building, collaborative relationships and problem solving through peaceful resolution of conflicts. Physical activity keeps our students physically and mentally healthy, while inculcating a sense of healthy competition; which will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Sports also help students get along with a diversified group of people.
