Guest Lecture on Cloud Privacy and Security.
The Chief Guest Professor Dr.D.Sangeetha delivered a lecture on “Cloud Privacy and Security” for the CSE Students.
The Organising Secretary Dr Kamal N, Professor and Head- CSE, coordinated the event and welcomed the gathering with a warm note.
Ms Sweetha V, II year CSE introduced the Chief Guest with great delight to the audience.
The stage was then set ready for the guest to address the gathering with his knowledge on “Cloud Privacy and Security”
The Chief Guest Started the session by discussing the concept of cybersecurity which is the set of techniques used to protect the integrity of networks, programs and data from attack, damage or unauthorized access.
She also emphasized cyberbullying, cyber-attacks which has led to more focus on cybersecurity.
She outlined the focus on research areas like network security, system security, security visualization, privacy-enhancing technologies, IOT big data security and privacy and critical infrastructure protection.
The speaker concluded the expert talk by elaborating upon various challenges and research scope in the domain of cloud computing cybersecurity.
Finally, the lecture ended up with interaction and discussion of students and speaker.
