IETE Students’ Forum Inauguration
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India’s leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication & IT. IETE has also been doing various activities to encourage the Students community to enrich their scientific & technical skills. To take advantage of this, IETE Students’ Forum (ISF) has been formed with participation of 50 students, belonging to II to IV year, with the encouragement, given by Staff and Management of the Institute.
After the Inaugural address a Guest Lecture on ‘Role of Electronics in Defence’ was given by the Chief Guest through an interesting presentation. Based on his long experience in Defence PSU, he was able to give a holistic picture about different types of Electronic systems, as used by Army, Navy and Air Force.
