The Department of Mechanical Engineering at GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tiruttani successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “SolidWorks Applications: Integrating Design Innovation with Sustainable Engineering Practices” from 13 July 2026 to 17 July 2026 in association with SIM Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.

The FDP provided faculty members with comprehensive hands-on training in 3D Modeling, Assembly Design, Simulation and Analysis (FEA), Design for Manufacturing, Sheet Metal & Weldments, and Sustainable Product Design using SolidWorks.
