Induction Day

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) organized an induction day for the second-year students on 09 July 2026 as they transitioned from the Science and Humanities (S&H) Department to the AI&DS core department. The session was addressed by Dr. S. Sathya, Head of the Department, who welcomed the students and introduced them to the department’s academic structure, curriculum, laboratory facilities, faculty members, and departmental regulations.

She guided the students on academic expectations, attendance, discipline, examination procedures, and the importance of building strong technical skills. The students were encouraged to actively participate in technical clubs, workshops, internships, industrial visits, certification programmes, research activities, and placement training to make the most of the opportunities offered by the department and excels in their academic and professional careers.
